It seems that the latest YAF version still does not allow us to hide categories. Why is that? That seems to be a very necessary feature IMHO. Hiding all forums in a category, while still displaying the category, isn't good enough.

Also, it would be nice to be able to move categories and forums to different boards once created.

what does this mean? can you you hide a category?

is there any way to restrict the viewing of categories by group? it seems this is only available for forums.
