One of the only issues I have with YAF is how table focused everything is and the consequences of this being very unfriendly to varying screen sized devices. YAF has many controls that can be modified to incorporate Bootstrap which is a mobile first responsive design layout concept.

I've been toying with the controls when time permits and I really like how the Forum Category list has turned out and you can see it here.

While I am very pleased with how Forum Category list appears, I basically just became content on what the Topic List looks like, lol. You can see it here.

I modified the Display Post to hide images for viewing posts in a topic, but by no means is that a finished product. I just don't want to be changing many lines of code every time I do an upgrade, which I do frequently.


Has anyone else applied responsive layout design to their YAF? I'm curious for more ideas on how to improve the layout.
