Hi all,

Could you tell me where I can find out a BBCode of MP3 Player to import on new YAF version? All code I did find on this forum didn't work.

And how can I turn on the attached function which let the forum member can upload their file on by their self? I just saw attached icon when log in under forum Admin.

Thanks

Ok here is an sample code for an mp3 player bbcode and how to add it...

Go to Admin -> Settings -> BBCode Extensions -> Add New BBCode

Then enter...

Name
Code:
MP3

Description
Code:
[MP3]Enter an URL to an MP3 File[/MP3]

Search RegEx
Code:
\[mp3\](?<inner>[^\[]*)\[/mp3\]

Replace RegEx
Code:
<div>
<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://yetanotherforum.net/player_mp3.swf" width="200" height="20">
     <param name="movie" value="player_mp3.swf" />
     <param name="FlashVars" value="mp3=${inner}" />
</object>
</div>

But Replace http://yetanotherforum.net/ with your forum url

Then save the extension.

Now you need to download the flash file from here...
http://flash-mp3-player....players/normal/download/

and put it in the forum root folder.

Save the new extension and you have everything setup

For usage use...

[mp3]http://flash-mp3-player.net/medias/another_world.mp3[/mp3]

This is handled via the Access Masks. Access Masks are set for each forum and the access masks are connected to each User Group.

If you want to allow all users to upload, then you have to allow the Member Access Mask Upload Access

Dear tha_watcha,

So sorry to bother you again, but I can't fix the code correct event did try so many time.

How can I add the code if I download Maxi style from here http://flash-mp3-player....dias/player_mp3_maxi.swf , then chage the background color & add few button as the code below?

Code:
<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://flash-mp3-player.net/medias/player_mp3_maxi.swf" width="400" height="20">
    <param name="movie" value="http://flash-mp3-player.net/medias/player_mp3_maxi.swf" />
    <param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" />
    <param name="FlashVars" value="mp3=http%3A//flash-mp3-player.net/medias/another_world.mp3&amp;width=400&amp;showstop=1&amp;showvolume=1&amp;buttonwidth=30&amp;volumewidth=50&amp;volumeheight=8&amp;bgcolor1=189ca8" />

Then use this as replace regex

Code:
<div>
<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://flash-mp3-player.net/medias/player_mp3_maxi.swf" width="200" height="20">
     <param name="movie" value="player_mp3_maxi.swf" />

Using the code he gave you, change the bgcolor value to whatever color you want.

You can use this link to find a color you'd like.
http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_colorpicker.asp

Code:
<div>
<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://flash-mp3-player.net/medias/player_mp3_maxi.swf" width="200" height="20">
     <param name="movie" value="player_mp3_maxi.swf" />
     <param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" />
    <param name="FlashVars" value="mp3=${inner}&amp;width=400&amp;showstop=1&amp;showvolume=1&amp;buttonwidth=30&amp;volumewidth=50&amp;volumeheight=8&amp;bgcolor1=189ca8" />
</object>
</div>

Then replace the hex value (#FFFFFF) with the hex value you want from the link posted. Very Happy

Hi Zero2Cool,

I think there is a misunderstanding here, the MP3 player was already done. I mean the background of whole forum. I found out your instruction but I don't understand how to change the code correctly Crying or Very sad

Oh I thought since you asked in this thread about mp3 it was pertaining to the same subject. Oops

Check your theme.CSS file for the background color.

Could you please give me more detail instruction? So many "background" codes on theme.css, which line number should I modify for forum background?
Thanks

It depends on what background you want changed and what theme you're using. I'm going to bed, but tomorrow if no one answered you, I'll give more details.

Theme Yafvision.

Add this to the very top of you theme.css file in the /themes/YafVision/ directory.

Code:
.yafnet
{
	background-color: #008800;
}

If it worked, you'll see green in the background.
