Hello,

Is it possible to modify yaf password validation to let user enter simple string passwords.
Now forum ask to use literals, numbers and symbols combination in password, I want to let user to use any password string they like.

open your webconfig and add the following changes to membership section (in bold):

<clear/>
<add connectionStringName="yafnet" applicationName="YetAnotherForum" minRequiredPasswordLength="5" minRequiredNonAlphanumericCharacters="0" name="YafMembershipProvider" requiresUniqueEmail="true" useSalt="true" type="YAF.Providers.Membership.YafMembershipProvider"/>
</providers>

My config code is below but I still get error when I try to change password from old to new one "qwerty"

Password incorrect or New Password invalid.
New Password length minimum: 4.
Non-alphanumeric characters required: 1.
