I am having problems getting images to show for each respected category, I have uploaded the images fine in the category folder and they show up when I choose them within the forum setting for each category, but they are not showing up on the forum once done. I even scaled the images to 32x32 like the original category image sizes. What seems to be the problem? Would love some help.

Thanks;

Jesse

The code to render the category images is not present in v1.9.3

This post will show you how to add the needed code to have the

images show up.HTH

Thanks for the quick response, I wish godaddy had the most recent uploat of YAF. Thanks for your help it did work using the other thread, though I noticed the 32x32 images has too much height and makes the coloumn widen out. But I will try to adjust the photo image

Thanks

GoDaddy's install of YAF is 1.9.3 right now, but you can install over that; I upgraded from 1.9.1.8 (Godaddy's most recent at the time) to 1.9.3 to 1.9.4 RC1

Enjoy!

Godaddy applications can be very difficult when doing upgrades because of webconfig files on shared hosting, this is what I learned anyways. So basically I just play it safe ( as I have had forums deleted before) and just wait on the godaddy upgrade of YAF. How does that work anyways? As soon as you guys get an update of YAF you submit it to godaddy and it is godaddy that takes so much time to update the version of YAF within the application section? I noticed the same kind of thing with Blogengine as well.

Would love to know more

Thanks
