Hello, Firstly thanks for the work you've done on this project.

I am currently running YAF 1.9.1.6 (though the dnn module definition says 1.9.1.5) on DNN 4.8.0.

I've looked but can't work out what the upgrade process to 1.9.1.8 is?

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Nathan

Anyone?

The wiki has an article on upgrading a forum but nothing on dnn upgrade, the dnn module doesn't show as upgradable so I am lost...

It is the same as upgrading the forum for those that do not use DNN.

Replace everything in the Desktopmodules/yaf directory with the new version, copy all the yaf .dll files into the bindirectory, make any changes required in the web.config file.

Then point your browser to desktopmodules/yaf/install/default.aspx.

The forum should upgrade the database and you will be good to go.

Thanks, and just leave the DNN module at the current version I assume?

Hmmm, did upgrade process and the forum is working but the version at the bottom still shows as

"Yet Another Forum.net version 1.9.1.6 running under DotNetNuke" ???

Yes. This manual upgrade does not change the module definition.

If you can check the yaf_version table in the database. It should have the 1.9.1.8 there
